First Baptist Shreveport – World Religions Course
Most people in the world are very religious, believe it or not. They have faith; they believe something; they have reasons for how they live their lives.
This is a user-friendly introduction to the world’s major religions, designed to help you understand people in the world around you . . . even in Shreveport.
Understanding the World’s Religions
The Art of understanding people in the world around you
More than any time in history, we know, see, and hear about people who are different from us. However, we often don’t understand those “other” people.
Sometimes we are even afraid of people!
Why do they do what they do?
Why do they say what they say?
Why do they wear what they wear and eat what they eat?
Who in the world ARE these people?
