Dr. Chialing Hsieh

Hailed as a “brilliant pianist” (Fanfare), Dr. Chialing Hsieh has performed recitals in Europe, Asia, and throughout the United States. Hsieh has been a featured pianist on seven CD’s for the Centaur, Enharmonic, and Ballpark record labels. She has given master classes and lectures throughout the United States and abroad and served as a judge and adjudicator for competitions and events.

Hsieh is currently an Associate Professor of Collaborative Piano at Northwestern State University of Louisiana. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the National Taipei University of the Arts, and M.M. and D.M.A. in piano performance at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music. Her principal teachers include Richard Morris, Sandra Rivers, and Tsai Chai-Hsio.

Dr. Hsieh is excited to join the Academy for the Arts for the upcoming year.
