My name is Kristal Good Patterson. I am a wife and mother of three amazing and talented kids Paris, Chamberlain, and Silas. I realized early on that it was God that put the love and talent in my heart to sing. I have been competing, performing, and teaching for a combination of over 15 years and am presently a private vocal coach.
Growing up in church, I sang in choirs and competitions, many local and some on a state and national level. At a very young age I knew and recognized the influence that music would have on the rest of my life. At 13 years of age I wrote, recorded and published my first song in Christian music. When I turned 15 I recorded my first Country music demo tape that I sent to Nashville for reviews by multiple recording labels.
While pursuing a career in country music, I attended Northwestern State University where I minored in vocal performance. While there I had the opportunity to perform in countless stage performances as well as perform in several vocal groups and bands. I studied musical theatre under Dr. Micheal Rorex and it is there I found a love for musical theater. I went on to sing and perform in local theatre as well as traveling bands.
After college I was fortunate to get the opportunity to study with celebrity vocal coach Chris Beatty in Nashville, TN and learned so many valuable techniques as a growing singer. I pursed many avenues throughout my singing career all of which have led me to teaching.
I am so thankful to have the opportunity to pursue my passion within my career. Working with young people and watching them grow and discover their “voice” through confidence and performing is a joy to do everyday!
