Areas of Instruction

The Academy for the Arts @ First Baptist Church Shreveport seeks to empower students of all ages and backgrounds in reaching their greatest potential both as artists and as human beings. Believing that artistic inspiration and talents are gifts which need to be shared in order to be fully realized; we offer regular and exciting opportunities for individual and group music lessons.

Private Lessons

Private instruction for all ages is offered in the form of 30-minute lessons or 60-minute lessons for a full semester or year in the disciplines to the left.

Group Lessons

Audition Preparation

This is four 30-minute or 60- minute private lessons for four consecutive weeks. No program fee required, but payment in full is required at time of registration.
